I was TOTALLY shocked to find out about the death of Alexander McQueen, fashion's beloved rebel and artist. I have found through my years as a fashion designer in NY how the industry can be cruel but on the level Alexander McQueen was on, the pressure and torture of the industry must have been more than one can bear.
I can only imagine how lonely it must be to be on top of the fashion world, constantly judged by the press and fashion industry people, but to also lose your mother and best friend within 2 years must be unbearable for a sensitive sole like McQueen.
The fashion industry has lost a true talent and voice that can not be duplicated. R.I.P. A McQ.
