I opened my anniversary present early.....the big 1-0 for me and Dave!
He gave us this beautifully framed photo he took of Lily with the camera we gave him for fathers day.....its lovely and the best present I could have got next to my lil Lily and the best husband there is.....my David.
She has to be from Long Island.....she is a plaintiff on judge judy....amazing. I could barely get all her hair in yhe photo!
Interview in1407 bwy today. They have a disturbing array of heads on plastic sticks displayed in the hall of the lobby. They are of "distinguished designers"....oscar, donna karan, Michael kors, calvin klein and diane von furstenberg.......they are all alive designers with their heads on sticks.....I guess that's the tribute u get here in the garmento centre.

Oh 42nd street, how lovely art you. You still have your twinkling lights. Prostitutes and peep shows? No. They have gone the way of the NYC artists, the mom and pop shops and the culture.
Replaced with tourists, luxury condos, lawn chairs, disneyland, mall stores and chain restaurants. Thanks God for the touture of 8th avenue.....it remains almost as sleezy as 42nd street once was.
We just saw the september issue (about Anna Wintour)......was ok. Grace Coddington was the star for sure......she does the most amazing work and she is so funny.
Now we are at Anna Sui's show wtg for it to begin. Clearly the fashion industry thinks it is rebounding. Last season they barely handed out any mags at the front door.....this season we got stacks again.
Kind of a milestone season since it is the last season in the tents at Bryant Park.
